Who pays for mediation?

Unless otherwise agreed and or eligible for either Legal Aid or the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) Family Mediation Voucher Scheme all family mediation costs are shared between the family mediation participants.

Can I afford mediation?

Family Mediation is a far more cost-effective method to resolve family disputes. A solicitor may quote upwards of £20,000 plus VAT if your family disputes cannot be resolved in family mediation meetings and goes to court for a full financial and or child arrangement hearings. Most solicitors may charge upwards of £250 plus VAT per hour, whereas our professional family mediation fees start from just £70 for a MIAM. Legal Aid

Ministry of Justice Family Mediation Voucher Scheme

Through our partnership we are part of the Ministry of Justice Family Mediation Voucher Scheme which provides up to £500 towards family mediation costs when child arrangements are in dispute.
